Tons of fun at Sandwich Builders!

We had a big group of parents and students at Sandwich Builders tonight! Thank you to everyone who came out to build lunches for the homeless. We made 750 beautiful and tasty lunches and an extra 200+ sandwiches. All will be delivered tomorrow morning.
Everyone brought a ton of bread,
chips, peanut butter and bananas.

And everyone helped out.

Mary Tangney and Lauren Shadid were
expert sandwich builders!

Michelle and John Soza were
a fantastic team!

And Rick Bisetti won the award for
the perfect sandwich.

We were blessed by our friends who came all the way
from Montebello to help us!

And in the end Sandwich Builders was a great success
and a great place to hang out!

We used a lot of peanut butter and jelly.

Add many thanks to John  Newman
and Elizabeth Burgess who made sure
everything was cleaned up!
See you next month at Sandwich Builders!

Helping Hands in 2014

 January 1, 2014
After watching Bowl Games all day I headed out to the intersection of Sycamore and Romaine with St. Paul's usher extraordinaire Rick Bisetti and the rest of our St. Paul's crew to serve a hot meal to many who need our prayers. Please support the GWHFC at the intersection of Sycamore and Romaine in West Hollywood. Sign up for a 2 hour shift on the first Wednesday of any month. To sign up click HERE.

Danny Amos says
"We need you at Sycamore and Romaine!"
The hot soup was fantastic!
But it was not the same without Matt McCoy
serving it with style!

Theresa was visiting St. Paul's from North Carolina.
She saw the note in our church bulletin about Sycamore and Romaine
and she came out to help while on her vacation!
And that was after waking up at 4 AM to go to the Rose Parade!
God bless you Theresa!
Rick Bisetti, Penny Landreth and
Bob Warren all did a fantastic job!

Sycamore and Romaine is a St. Paul's outreach program that meets
on the first Wednesday of each month.
